Workshop & Jam – Thelonious Monk

3:30 – 4:30pm Workshop An instructor will teach tools for improvising over one or more of the selected songs.
4:30 – 6:30pm Jazz Jam Session Each jam will start with everyone in the workshop playing the “workshopped” song(s). We use a sign-up sheet so that everyone has the opportunity to step on stage and play a song they’re comfortable with.
Come ready to learn more about 1 or more of these songs: Blue Monk or Straight No Chaser (Blues), Well You Needn’t, In Walked Bud
