Adam Czerepinski will be leading a workshop about the ways that we can use orchestration to add depth and color to our solos and ensemble playing. Open jam to follow.

Tenor saxophone player Austin Celbuske will be leading a workshop entitled "Crafting a Meaningful Solo with Voice-Leading" followed by an open jam session. Workshop 6-7pm Jam Session 7-9pm

UW Director of Jazz Studies, Johannes Wallmann, will be leading a workshop titled "Intro to Playing Chord Changes: Adapting Diatonic Improvisation to Chord Progressions", followed by an open jam session. 6-7pm: Workshop 7-9pm: Jam Session

Explore a journey in to free improvisation, with Hanah Jon Taylor through listening, learning, making sounds and interacting with those in the room. House band will include Adam Czerepinski (p), Aden Stier (b) and Jim Huwe (d) 6-7pm: Workshop 7-9pm: Jam Session

All ages and ability levels are welcome. Come to listen and/or to join in.   Out of the Shed features Olivia Flood (drums), Lance Letellier (piano), Alex Fuecht (bass) and Calvin Carl (saxophone).

Workshop (6-7PM) will focus on using your aural skills and intuition to create melodies in the blues, major, and minor progressions. Bring your axe, join in the music making.
