DESCRIPTION:As part of the iGnitE jAzz! camp\, we are hosting drop-in classes\, open to the public Monday-Thursday at 6pm. There are two drop-in classes to choose from each evening. Classes are FREE and open to all\, with a suggested donation of $30 per session\, or $100 for all four days. Learn to make it fresh. \nWednesday June 17\, 6pm – 7:30pm \nAmy Lewis “Freedom Dreaming and Improvisatory Play” – Reminiscences of her grandfather\, Jay McShann \nKatherine Kramer “Jazz Tap: History & Influence” – Be ready to move and open doors of what makes it swing \nThursday June 18\, 6pm – 7:30pm \nSally de Broux “Circle Singing” – Join in to fill the room with voices\, collaborative harmony & groove \nJoey B Banks “The Funky Drummer” – The beat and influence of Clyde Stubblefield
